Barack Obama

Do you know who is the man talking in the picture? He is Barack Obama, senator of Democratic party from United States. There is a signboard 'Change We Can Believe In'. The people behind him those same signboards. They are supporting Barack Obama. This picture was taken when he was giving a speech. They were under the sun as we can see. People are listening him carefully. Most of them are smiling and it shows that they like his talk. One word, Mr.Obama always uses is 'HOPE'. He has published a book called The Audacity of Hope. He is an ambitious man. He is ambitions are for United States and poor countries. He won almost every votes. Although he is just 46 years old, he has the abilities to lead United States and save the world. He is someone the United States really needs and also the whole world. He said that he would stop Iraq war. He does not oppose all wars but he opposes dumb wars.

Alexander The Great

Let's make a good guess about this picture. Who is the person riding the horse? We all know him very well. He is Alexander The Great. This is just a painting of him. We will have a very great impression by looking at his expression and position. The way he holds his sword in the picture is normally done by the warriors who won the battle. So, from the picture, we can say that he was a successful warrior. Yes, he was. There is an honorable history about him and wicked battles he had succeeded. He was one of the most successful military commanders of all time and is presumed undefeated in battle. He is the youngest general in the history. He was born in Macedonia and died at Babylon. He died at the age of 32. 32 years old is really young. Yet, he had conquered other strong countries and built a huge empire. I would like to share one of his quotes. It is "I'm not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep. I'm afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion".

Inn Lay

This is Inn Lay, Myanmar. The meaning of Inn Lay is small lake. But Inn Lay is actually big. We call it as a long lake because it is about 13 miles long. One of the tribes live there. They build their house on the water. They make their plantation on the water. The spend their whole lives living there. It is like a small town. Inn Lay has boats market, a monastery, pagodas and restaurants. Boats market is a market but their stores are their boats. They bring whatever items or grocers they want to sell and row the boats around that area. This photo is one of the beautiful view I took there while I was sitting on the boat. Boats are the only transportation in Inn Lay.

This is a castle
It is me again. I have so many things to talk about this picture. Although, I have so many to share, I will talk some of my favorites. The building behind me is a castle in Finland. It is one of the four famous castles in Finland. I had never been to any castles in the world. I had seen castles from movies and pictures but not in real life. That was my very first time to a castle. I had wondered how important is a castle in ancient time. Now, it is very clear as I saw how they planned before they built a castle. I am sure that you know the purposes of a castle. So, I will not explain that part. I was pleased that locals brought my friends and me to there. We were on students exchange program between Finland and Singapore. I have learnt so many things about cultures of Northern European countriesand Finland. The trip to the castle is highly memorial moment for me.

Forbidden Buddha Statues

Wow! So many statues of Buddha. I took that picture in eastern part of Burma, Shan state. Burma is famous for Buddhism. This was inside a very huge cave. There are 9000 of Buddha statues. Their sizes are not same. Some may be about 7 feet high. Some can be as small as an English text book. Those statues are not made in modern age. They have been there for long time. If you are not familiar with the cave, it is like a maze. You have to go with a guide or local. Otherwise, you will be trapped. I have already been there for a few times. So, I can walk into the cave alone. That place is very interesting as it has been there for more than one thousand years from the information of scientists from different countries

Padaung

This is what I call knowledge. It is me, Zarni and I took a photo together with a Padaung girl. Padaung is one of the tribes from Burma. They are the minority of Burma. The speak different languange. Those who live near urban areas can speak Burmese as well. They are strange people. It is because women of the tribe wear ornaments known as neck rings, brass coils that are placed around the neck. It is their culture. Some of them the fled to Thailand due to the danger of the military government. Then, they became stateless in Thailand. You can search Padaung in internet. That was the first time I could see them face to face. Most of the time I saw them on television.

Our Friendship
.jpg)
This was taken in Orchard MRT station. We are very good friends to one another. We went out at least once a week the last time. Now we are busy with school works. That day was Singapore National Day. In the picture, although Khairil is the only Singaporean, Aung, Rudolvo, Aven and I celebrated the National day with him. It is simply because we live here, we study here and we have fun here. We took this photo by the reflection of the window of a security door. Kiatisak was there too but he was not in the picture. We are from different countries. However, we form a great friendship and enjoy living in Singapore.

East Coast Dance
.jpg)
Everyone has at least one favorite art. All human beings are made up of fine arts. As I am one of them, I have my favorite art too. It is dancing. I like to dance as you can see from the picture and I feel so ecstasy when I am dancing. This photo was taken at east coast by Aung, my close friend. We both like to dance. At that time, I was posing one of the Micheal Jackson's move. Meanwhile, I was dancing on the stone table. It is quite smooth and able to dance. The scenery seems good to dance as trees are around us. The surrounding is green and green represents the coolness.
